Advanced Therapies for Pediatric Obesity is a dynamic educational program hosted by the world leaders in pediatric obesity treatment. This program uses patient cases to highlight practical, real world strategies for managing pediatric obesity using state-of-the-art lifestyle therapy, anti-obesity medications and metabolic and bariatric surgery. With the recent FDA approval of several anti-obesity medications for use in the pediatric population, pharmacotherapy will be a significant focus of this conference.

1. Understand the pathophysiology of obesity and the weight reduced state and apply this knowledge to treatment strategies for pediatric obesity.
2. Recognize how weight related comorbidities contribute to worsening obesity and how to intervene.
3. Apply comprehensive strategies for the management of pediatric obesity using nutrition, physical activity, behavior change, medications, and surgery.

Cancellation Policy
In the event you need to cancel your registration, the registration fee, less a $50 administrative fee, will be refunded if you notify us by 4:30 p.m. Central Time two weeks prior to the start of the conference. No refunds will be made after this date.

American Medical Association (AMA)
The University of Minnesota, Interprofessional Continuing Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 10.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Other Healthcare Professionals
Other healthcare professionals who participate in this CE activity may submit their certificate of participation to their appropriate accrediting organizations or state boards for consideration of credit. The participant is responsible for determining whether this activity meets the requirements for acceptable continuing education.
