Overview

This course is planned and hosted by the University of Minnesota Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.

This course will provide APPs and other healthcare providers with the latest and most up-to-date guidelines, and diagnostic and management modalities in GI niches not typically discussed in formal training. Thursday will focus on gut health and diet in IBD, as well as a social/networking event and a keynote speaker. Friday will cover bariatric endoscopy and weight loss medications, enteral nutrition, multiple hepatology topics, pelvic floor dysfunction, and more. Small-group case discussions engage participants' involvement in creating differentials and diagnosing acute GI/hepatology disease, and care related to advanced endoscopy procedures. Our goal continues to focus on the gastroenterology education of APPs as they play an integral role in this field, although all providers are welcome.

Preliminary agenda is now available on Agenda/Schedule tab. Agenda subject to change
