This is a series of faculty development sessions for the early career hospital medicine faculty members at the Division of Hospital Medicine (those who are within the first 2 years of faculty appointment) to learn various knowledge and skills necessary to launch a successful career as an academic hospitalist.

Note this series has a variable schedule; see schedule tab for dates or for information about this series including the schedule or location, contact the Division of Hospital Medicine directly.

1. Review QI, research and educational topics that are relevant to the career of an academic hospitalist.
2. Discuss how to network in and outside of the division to enhance collaboration of scholarly work.
3. Identify opportunities for group and peer mentoring.

Credit Designation Statements 
American Medical Association (AMA)
The University of Minnesota, Interprofessional Continuing Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
American Academy of PAs (AAPA)
University of Minnesota, Interprofessional Continuing Education has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria.
