Overview

The 33rd Annual ITNS Symposium - Transplantation Odyssey: Honoring History, Inspiring the Future was held on October 3-5, 2025 in Philadelphia, PA. This online course, presented by the International Transplant Nurses Society (ITNS), includes recordings from the live course featuring world-class faculty providing cutting-edge research and clinical information in transplant nursing.

  4. Complete the required Post-Test (70% score required, multiple attempts are allowed)

  5. Complete the course evaluation and access your Certificate of Participation through My CE > Evaluations and Certificates in your CE Portal account. Your Certificate of Participation will also be emailed to you.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this course, learners should be able to:

  1. Identify the key disciplines involved in transplant care for patients and explain how each discipline contributes to the optimal outcome for the patient.
  2. Explore emerging strategies and technologies that multidisciplinary teams can adopt to enhance personalized approaches and improve patient outcomes.
  3. Evaluate best practices for multi-disciplinary collaboration to enhance outcomes for long-term transplant recipient success.
  4. List the challenges and opportunities encountered by transplant nurses in all phases of care and across a variety of healthcare systems.
  5. Discuss emerging therapies to mitigate post-transplant complications.
  6. Examine the technological advances that impact organ donation, improve organ utilization, and advance graft survival.
  7. Identify the impact that emerging pharmacological treatments have on post-transplant care.

  • Registration for this online course will end on 8/15/2026. 

  • All registered learners must complete all content and the required post course evaluation by 8/31/2026 to be eligible for CE credit. 

  • Registration through CE Portal is required for all learners.

Post-Test

After reviewing the video content for day 1, 2 and 3, you must complete the Post-Test and evaluation. You must receive a score of 70% or higher on the Post-Test and will be allowed to repeat the test if necessary. 

Upon successful completion of the Post-Test, you will then gain access to the course evaluation through My CE > Evaluations & Certificate in your CE Portal account. After completing the evaluation, your Certificate of Participation will be available in My CE and sent to you via email.
